四個方位詞的詞性及用法。
這四個方向詞＋ern構成形容詞，表示“……方的”，即：

point up向上指
eg：Please point up.請向上指。
辨析point at與point to
point at
指向較近的事物。指向某人時常有責備、抱怨之意。
You can’t point at your mother like that.你不能像那樣指著***媽。
point to
指向較遠的事物。指向某人時不含貶義。
He is pointing to a flying bird happily.他正高興地指著一只飛翔的小鳥。

【點撥】 point up意為“向上指”，point to 意為“指向某物/人”。根據句意“尼克指向街盡頭的大樓……”可知此處用point to。又因主語Nick是第三人稱單數，故謂語動詞用第三人稱單數。故選D。

country/'kʌntrI/可數名詞，翻譯為“國家”。
eg：China is a big country.中國是一個大國。
country還可以翻譯為“鄉村”，此時country 常與the連用。
