第一部分內容：情態動詞的用法
表示可能、懷疑、需要、允諾、意愿、義務、猜測等的動詞叫情態動詞。情態動詞有一定的詞義，表示說話人的看法和態度，要和不帶to的動詞不定式(ought，have等除外)一起構成謂語，無人稱和數的變化。常用的情態動詞主要有：can，could，would, should，may，must，might等。
考點 1 情態動詞may/might
考向一 表示許可或征詢對方許可。
eg：You may go now.
現在你可以走了。
May I watch TV after supper?
晚飯后我可以看電視嗎？
He said that I might use the telephone.
他說我可以用電話。
注意：征詢許可時，might比may更委婉、客氣。
肯定回答常用“Yes，of course.”；否定回答常用
“No，you mustn't.”。
eg：Might I have a word with you，please?
請問，我可以和你談一談嗎？
—May I take the book out of the reading room？
我可以將這本書帶出閱覽室嗎？
—Yes，of course./No，you mustn't.
是的，當然可以。/不，你不能。

英語中的形容詞有原級、比較級和最高級三種形式。表示“比……更……一些”的概念時，用比較級；表示“最……”的概念時，用最高級。
