字母組合wh的發音
wh
/w/
濁輔音，聲帶振動。發音時舌后部向軟腭抬起，舌位高。雙唇收小并向前突出，發音短促，立刻滑向其后的元音。
/h/
清輔音，聲帶不振動。發音時氣流送出口腔，再通過聲門迸發出輕微摩擦，口形隨其后的元音而變化。
