    一、How much引導的特殊疑問句

    how much引導的特殊疑問句,可以用來詢問商品的價格,意為“多少錢”,其結構為:“How much +be動詞+其他.”。如果詢問的是單個商品,be動詞用is,如果詢問多個商品,be動詞用are。

    —How much is the sweater?           —It's five dollars.

    —How much are these socks?        —They're three dollars.

    【拓展】(1)how much除了可以詢問價格以外,還可以詢問物品的數量,意為“多少”,后接不可數名詞。

    (2)how many“多少”+可數名詞復數

    How much milk do you want?

    二、形容詞的基本用法

    形容詞是表示人或事物的性質、特征的一類詞。如big,white,interesting,difficult等。在句中一般作定語和表語。

    1.形容詞作定語

    定語是修飾、限定某一名詞或代詞的部分。形容詞作定語,一般用在某個名詞或代詞之前,起到修飾、限定該名詞的作用。

    I want to buy a green skirt.

    2.形容詞作表語

    表語是句中放在be動詞及sound等連系動詞后的部分,起到陳述主語性質、特征的作用。形容詞作表語同樣放在句中be動詞及sound等連系動詞之后。

    The story sounds interesting.

    形容詞在句中作定語或作表語是形容詞最基本的用法。
