【辨析】not longer與no more
兩個短語都有“不再”的意思，在很多情況下可以換用。具體區別如下：
①no longer相當于not...any longer，側重于在時間上不再延長。它們與狀態動詞或延續性動詞連用。其中not...any longer中的any longer置于動詞之后，no longer必須寫在一起。
②no more相當于not...anymore，側重于在數量上不再增加。它們與表示具體動作的動詞連用，尤其可與短暫性動詞連用。
honest形容詞，意為“誠實的，正直的”。to be honest意為“老實說；坦白地說”。
eg：He is an honest boy.他是一個誠實的男孩。
【注意】honest的第一個字母h不發音，它以元音音素/ɒ/開頭，故前面的冠詞應使用an。其名詞形式是honesty。
as for是介詞短語，意為“至于，關于”，其后跟名詞、代詞或動詞ing形式，可置于句首或句中。
do with相當于deal with，意為“處理，應付”。
①do with與deal with兩者都可以用來表示“處理”，do側重于對象，deal側重于方式、方法。但是在特殊疑問句中，do with與what連用，deal with則與how連用。
eg：I don't know how they deal with the problem.
＝I don't know what they do with the problem.我不知道他們如何處理這個問題。
②在動詞不定式短語to deal with中，必須帶賓語。
eg：I don't know how to deal with it.我不知道如何處理這件事。
