1.In your country,what are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?在你們國家，當你初次與某人見面時你應該做什么？
be supposed to 意為“應該”，后接動詞原形，相當于should 或 ought to,用來表示勸告、建議、義務、責任等。其否定形式為be not supposed to,意為“不應該”。
e.g.:We are supposed to be here at six.
Everyone is supposed to wear a seat belt in the car.
Children are not supposed to play soccer in the street.
2.In the United States,they’re expected to shake hands.在美國，他們應該握手。
（1）be expected to do sth.意為“（某人）被期望做某事；應該做某事”，此處相當于be supposed to do sth。
e.g.:You’re expected to get good grades this term.
（2）expect及物動詞，意為“期望；預料；期待”，后可接名詞、代詞、動詞不定式或從句。其常用結構：expect to do sth. 意為“期待做某事”；expect sb. to do sth.意為“期待某人做某事”。
e.g.:I expect a letter from my family.
She expected to come back next week.
I expected you to do your duty.
I expected that I’ll back on Sunday.
