1.go abroad
go abroad意為“出國”，其中abroad為副詞，意為“在國外；到國外”。
e.g.:She often goes abroad on business.
I've never lived abroad before.
2.clean off
clean off意為“把……擦掉”，為“動詞+副詞”型短語，人稱代詞作賓語時，只能放在兩詞中間，名詞作賓語時，可放在兩詞中間，也可放在副詞之后。
e.g.:I wanted to clean off these black marks.=I wanted to clean these black marks off.
3.In many eastern European countries,you are expected to/ supposed to take off your gloves before shaking hands.在許多東歐國家，握手前你應該摘下手套。（教材第76頁）
take off 此處意為“脫下（衣服）”，為“動詞+副詞”型短語。當人稱代詞作賓語時，須置于兩詞之間；當名詞作賓語時，置于兩詞之間或副詞后面都可以。其反義短語為put on,意為“穿上”。
e.g.:Put on your clothes.Don’t take them off.

一、be supposed to do的用法
1.意為“應該；被期望……”。主語是物時，意為“本應；本該”，指“某事本應該發生而沒有發生”。
e.g.:You are supposed to shake hands when you meet someone for the first time in China.
The plane was supposed to arrived at 6:00.
2.用于否定句中，表示“獲準；允許”。
e.g.:You are not supposed to smoke on the bus.
3.be supposed to have done sth.意為“本應做某事而實際上沒做”。
e.g.:You are supposed to have finished the work.
二、be expected to do的用法
be expected to do表示一種可能性，意為“被期許（預期）會做某事”。
e.g.:He is expected to do well in the test.
She is expected to arrive at noon.
三、 “It is +adj.+to do sth.”的用法
it作形式主語，真正的主語是動詞不定式。
e.g.:It was wrong for you not to help her.
