Study skills
The suffixes -ing, -ness and -ion
We can add -ing, -ness and -ion to some verbs and adjectives to form nouns.
illness /'ɪlnəs/ n．疾病
eg: We are certain that he will get over his illness.
我們確信他會戰勝病魔的。
illness是由ill加后綴ness構成的。類似的詞還有：happiness，goodness, kindness, tiredness等。。
because of “由于，因為”，
of 是介詞，后面可以接名詞、代詞或動詞的ing形式。

介詞短語，后面可以接名詞、代詞或動詞的ing形式

連詞，后面接表示直接原因的句子
