silent /'saɪlənt/ adj.寂靜的
eg: The room was silent. 房間里一片寂靜。
silent的副詞形式為silently；名詞形式為silence。
silent還有“沉默的；不說話的”的意思。
eg: He couldn't speak English and was completely silent during the visit.
他不會說英語，參觀過程中一言不發。
