1．The minute I sat down in front of the TV，my mom came over.
同義句：My mom came over as soon as I sat down in front of the TV.我一在電視機前坐下來，我媽媽就走過來了。
the minute意為“一……就……”，引導時間狀語。通常情況下主從句時態要一致。但主句用一般將來時，從句則用一般現在時表將來，即“主將從現”。
例句：I'll give the note to her the minute she comes back.她一回來我就把便條給她。
2．I'm just as tired as you are!
as…as…意為“與……一樣……”，用于同級比較。第一個as為副詞，后接形容詞或副詞原級；第二個as為連詞，引導比較狀語從句。as…as…的否定形式為not as/so…as…意為“……不如……”。
