The regular simple past verb
動詞的過去式
① 一般動詞原形末尾加-ed。如：look → looked, stay→ stayed ;
② 以e結尾的動詞只加-d。如：hope →hoped, live→ lived;
③ 末尾只有一個輔音字母結尾的重讀閉音節的動詞, 應先雙寫這個輔音字母, 再加-ed. 如: stop → stopped
④ 結尾是“輔音字母+y”的動詞, 先將y改為i,再加-ed. 如: study → studied
