get和turn都是系動詞，表示“變得”，其后直接接形容詞作表語。表示變化的系動詞還有become，go，grow等等。
►compared to/with和……相比
eg：This book is quite new compared to/with yours.和你的書相比，這本書非常新。
【拓展】compare... to還有“把……比作”的意思，有比喻意義。
eg：Time is often compared to money.人們常把時間比作金錢。
►go swimming去游泳
►It rains a lot.下雨量很大。
①rain在此用作動詞，意為“下雨”。
②a lot在句中作狀語或賓語，意為“許多；大量”，而a lot of則表示“許多……”。
它的后面既可以跟可數名詞，也可以跟不可數名詞。
eg：I have learned a lot from him.我從他身上學到了很多。

There are a lot of books in our school library.(a lot of＝many)我們學校圖書館里有許多書。
