②throw away扔掉；丟棄
used形容詞，意為“用過的；二手的”。eg：To save money，I bought a used car instead of a new one.為了省錢，我買了一輛二手車，沒有買新車。
There is a used glass on the table.桌子上有一個用過的杯子。
【拓展】used還可用作動詞，是use的過去式或過去分詞形式。
①“be used for＋名詞/代詞/動詞-ing”意為“被用于······”。
eg：Stamps are used for sending letters.郵票被用來寄信。
②“be used as＋名詞”意為“被用作······”。
eg：This room is used as their office.這個房間被用作他們的辦公室。
③“be used to＋動詞原形”意為“被用來做某事”。
eg：Knives are used to cut things.刀子是用來切東西的。
④“be used to＋動詞-ing”意為“習慣于做某事”。
eg：He was used to living alone several months later.幾個月后，他就習慣了一個人生活了。
repeat動詞，意為“重說；重新做”。
eg：Can you repeat this experiment？你能重做這個實驗嗎？
