1. Jenny and Danny are making birthday cards for Li Ming. 詹妮和丹尼正在給李明做生日卡。
(1) make為動詞，表示“制作”。
常用于句式make sth. for sb. = make sb. sth.，意為“為某人制作某物”。
My mother made a skirt for me.=My mother made me a skirt.
我媽媽給我做了一條裙子。
(2) 在英語中，某些及物動詞可跟雙賓語這一類動詞有：
bring、 give、 pass、 tell、 show、 read、 leave、 teach、 buy、 make、 get、 sing等。
(3) make作使役動詞，表示“使，讓”。
make sb. do sth. 讓某人做某事
The teacher makes us study hard.老師讓我們努力學習。

She made me happy. 她使我很高興。
2. Jenny passes him her card. 詹妮把她的卡片遞給他。
(1) pass作動詞，表示“傳遞，傳送”。pass sb. sth.=pass sth. to sb.意為“把某物遞給某人” 。
Please pass me the pen.=Please pass the pen to me. 請把鋼筆遞給我。
(2) pass作動詞，還表示“走過，經過”，相當于go past、walk past或go by。
The ship passed the Qiongzhou Channel. 船經過了瓊州海峽。
3.Best wishes to you on your thirteenth birthday. 在你的十三歲生日給你最好的祝福。
(1) wish表示“祝愿，好意”時，常用復數wishes。向人表達祝愿時用to；向節日致意時用for。

(2) wish作動詞表示“希望”，常用于：wish to do sth.；wish sb. to do sth.；wish+that從句。
