1.It must be large enough to hold the roots of the seeding. 它必須足夠大以容納的種子根。
must是情態動詞，意為“必須；肯定”。用在肯定句中表示較有把握的推測。對現在的狀態或現在正發生的事情的推測時，must后面通常接系動詞be 的原形或行為動詞的進行式。如：
You have worked hard all day. You must be tired. 你辛苦干一整天，一定累了。
2. Now, put the seedling inside, cover the roots and fill the hole with dirt. 現在，把幼苗放進來，蓋上根，用泥土填上坑。
fill作動詞，常用動詞詞組fill… with…意為“用……把……裝滿”，被動形式： be filled with意為“裝/填滿”，相當于be full of，full是形容詞，意為“裝滿；充滿”。如：

3. I suppose tree planting is very important work. 我想，植樹造林是非常重要的工作 。
suppose是及物動詞，常用來表示說話人的看法、猜測或假設。其基本用法如下：
(1)“suppose＋名詞/代詞＋介詞短語”表示“猜測某人/某物在……”。如：
He supposed his friend in the library. 他猜想他的朋友在圖書館里。
(2) be supposed to中的to是動詞不定式符號，后接動詞原形，主語為人時，表示“應該；被期望”，它可以用來表示勸告、建議、義務、責任等。主語為物時，它表示“本應；本該”，用于表示某事本應該發生而沒有發生。它還可以用來表示“被認為是；被相信是”。如：
