1.be known for 因……眾所周知 ,因……而著名
be known for ＝be famous for.
Eg:Vancouver,whistler ski resort is know for it is the 2010 winter Olympics host field site.
溫哥華惠斯勒滑雪勝地因它是2010年冬奧會的舉辦場而聞名。
⑴be known as 作為……而出名。后接表示職位名稱和主語身份的詞語。
⑵be known for 因……而著名＝be famous for,后接表原因的詞。
2.pride(n.) 引以為豪的事物（或人）；驕傲
be pride of …..的驕傲
take pride in… 為……感到驕傲
